for circuit simulation i use Switcher Cad III, completely free and parts library is updated frequently, you can find it at www.linear.com

more specifically: https://www.linear.com/designtools/softwareRegistration.jsp click the bottom link so you dont have to register

I got circuitmaker, downloaded it, it works pretty good, I'm just getting started into electronics. (I shoud have paid more attention to my dad when he tried to teach me). Can't remember where I got it from or I would post it for you.I'll look around some more for it and then repost it later, if someone doesn"t beat me to it.

What about the "switcher cad" software, do you need a version of cad to use it or is it complete? I went to the site but, wanted to see it first and wanted to know a little more about it. What can you tell me about it.

this is purely analog simulation, coils, transistor etc...

havent used that much so dont know wery well
