I have been working with Atmel AVR's. And want to switch over to PIC.
1. If i choose a PIC18F13K22 chip as example. Do i need an external oscillator to use this?
2. I put up a PIC18F13K22 on Proteus and programmed it to output 2 LED to high on PORTC. But when i tested so it only show 1 LED as high. Do you know what is reason?
3. Does this mean that this chip have a limited execution of process such as it can't output 2 pins as High?
Precision 16 MHz internal oscillator block:
– Factory calibrated to ± 1%
– Software selectable frequencies range of 31 kHz
to 16 MHz
– 64 MHz performance available using PLL
– No external components required
■ Four crystal modes up to 64 MHz
