Getting Data from USB data

Hello Guys i am new to hardware communication now how can i get data from USB ports.i have a micro controller that will send data to my computer using the USB port but how can i get data because i need to create a driver using 'C' by which i can retrieve(or read) data from USB ports.I mean in which part of the memory is the data stored.

I am creating main application that will request this driver to fetch data from USB port.i am currently downloading Windows Driver Kit(WDK) from Microsoft website does this software have build in application to read or write to USB port

Check out the application notes at MicroChip which provide and explain both the PIC and PC software for using USB on a suitable PIC.

That's new since I last looked, but looks like just what you need, everything all in one place.

well i check it and i could only find the FAQ useful but that doesn't clear my doubts on reading/writing to USB ports on my computer

You can't have looked very hard, what about under 'documentation'?.
