Getting my hands on alot of pcbs with smd components UK

Hi
I watch alot of videos on youtube of people repairing electronics. I am always envious because they make smd rework look so easy.
Does anyone know of a place in Manchester UK I can get my hands on so old pcbs so I can practise smd rework.

I would suggest ordering boards from jlcpcb with whatever footprints you want to practice with. You can also buy the cheapest lcsc components available with the footprints you have on your board. You can then solder the components on and practice getting them off. This should cost you no more than 20£ with shipping. There is also the option of looking in skips if you're willing to do that. You may be surprised by the amount of useful stuff your local university throws out.

Several free options: electronic waste collection sites, companies, dumpster diving. But, why do extensive practice until you need the skill? Learn to solder well, then there will be plenty of opportunity to practice on SMD's. Virtually any discarded appliance will have a PCB with SMD's on it.
