Gold or Silver?

But if the reason of using Gold is corroding then please tell me how do the wires corrode while they are inside of the package of the IC or the transidtor??

They don't. You usually see gold plated external connectors, especially in the audiofile realm of things.

They use copper wire internally in chips.
