Hai
Here I have confusion about analog ground and digital ground.
Aim using ADC804 ADC .It have ACOM, DCOM, VIN (+), VIN (-) pins.
In some circuits in the data sheet ACOM, DCOM PINS are shorted and connected to Single ground. In some circuits in the data sheet ACOM, DCOM PINS are connected to analog ground and digital grounds.
In this one which is suitable for applications.
I’m using 5V power supply.It has (+) pin and (-) pins.
In this one how to make analog and digital grounds

Please solve my confusion on analog and digital grounds

Thank you

Regards
chandu

Analog and digital grounds are usually connected together somewhere in the circuit. The key is to connect them in a way the minimizes the noise from the digital grounds being transfered to the analog grounds and thus upsetting the A/D conversion accuracy.
