hd44780 eqivalents

I'm having a hard time deciding which lcd is compatible with hd44780 in rsphilippines. anyone have an idea wich is one can be its equivalent or is compatible with 44780? thanx.here is the site. www.rsphilippines.com

the lcd module usualy comes with the IC built in, and is usualy 44780 compatable.

It would be VERY unusual to find a modern text LCD module that isn't 44780 compatible.
