I have a heat pump that is located in a corner of the garage. The thermostat needs to be in the lounge...but the wiring from the thermostat to the heat pump has failed and I cannot locate the break. Is it possible to take the signal from the thermostat and transmit it wirelessly to the heat pump?
Most modern thermostats are wireless, and you can get them to either work with receivers built-in the boilers (usually a plug-in option on the boiler) or with a stand alone receiver - in your case a thermostat and stand alone receiver should do the job.
