Hello guys I was just working on my SAMP server recently and ran into a problem with the ping command in CMD. I just want to know what does the (-S ) switch do when used with the ping command. My friend did this and said that it changes the source address of the ping(ICMP) packet does he mean it spoofs the IP address of the ping packet.
EXAMPLE-ping -S 192.168.0.100 192.168.0.400 here -S is capital and not a small letter -s of which i know the usage.
Any help will be appreciated.Thank you.
