HELP PLEASE!!! MPLAB and ICD1

hi there folks

this is really urgent....i am using the pic16F877 and making a line follower project. I have done my programming using MPlab and CCS. Now i want to upload the program to the pic. I am using ICD1 and MPLAB V5.70.40.....could someone please tell me how to go about doing this? urgent!!!!

The ICD1 doesn't appear to support the 16F877 with MPLAB 8.0
It's an old device.

BUt it has too....we were given the multipic board and ICD1 boards designed specially for my university. its just that i dont know how to go about it

That said, if MPLAB 5.4 suports it then you simply use the IMPORT function to load the hex file, and then choose your ICD1 programmer and hit the program button.

Presumably you were given them a LONG time ago?, as suggested the ICD1 isn't supported any longer.
