Click to expand... 1)two led / photodiode couple placed at a known interval, object passes b/w these , -> determine time gap , measure speed . 2) use ultrasound ranging (like bats do/doppler sonar) 3) use laser ranging (LIDAR)

tkvenki New Member Mar 29, 2006 #3 Hi, I had tried out a similar project long back. The velocity detection did not work for the first time. The DEBOUNCE was the issue. Make sure you do that properly. All the best
