help with pickit2 !

i get this error while i verify the PIC

Verifying Target
PIC12F629 found (Rev 0x10)
Verifying Program Memory (0x0 - 0x3FF)
Verifying EEPROM Memory (0x0 - 0x7F)
Verifying User ID Memory
Verifying Configuration Memory
PK2Error0027: Failed verify (Address = 0x2007 - Expected Value 0xFFF - Value Read 0x1FF)
PICkit 2 Ready

please help

How are you setting the config word?, 0xFFF doesn't seem to be a valid value.

I've no idea what that is you've posted?, but it makes no sense - HOW have you set the fuses?.

Do you have the CONFIG in Code Check Box checked.? if yes do you have a CONFIG statement in your Code.?

it was an hex file
or i doing something wrong
can anyone give me the tutorial

hi T,
Was that hex file written for the PIC type that you are trying to program.
Post the full hex file
