Help with pin config

I have a L298N I cant seem to find out which side is pin 1 and which end is pin 15 can some one help?

here is the data sheet:

if you have the version with a metal tab, pin one is the first on the left
if you have the 20 pin IC style, pin 1 is beside the corner with the bevel cut

Just to be clear then if you are looking at it from the front then the left pin is 1 right they are notched on both sides?

sorry to sound rude, but... come on, there's a picture!! and open up the datasheet, and there's even more detailed diagrams!

No problem that is not rude I had a serious brain failure I was putting it in and had it pin 1 from left to right but when I noticed the two notches and freaked out but I saw that I was right in the first place thanks for the quick help.
