Hi...

I would like to make a virtual reality glove, but have no idea where to start - has anyone any sites/tips/help? It will be used as an additional controller for use mainly with AutoCAD...sorry it's a bit vague, but I thought someone may have a good starting point for me to study from.

Thanks

there are some resistance strips that change resistance wen bent.that wod bo perfect for the fingers.

as for the position in space detetor meby an IR led on the glove and 2 cameras at 90° whith IR filters

one can seefor the X and Z
the other one can see for Y and Z

well there tings can get comlicated if you want them wery eficent.

how about:"microsofts wireles 3D giroscopic compuer mouse" (it cant be teld schorter  ). Its a wierles mouse that can detech X,Y and Z movment!

I gues this mouse has devoced from mouse pads!

to make life a little less complex not all the fingers need be encoded by the glove, for most applications , including robotic manipulators, a thumb and the first two fingers is sufficient
