I have started to use CH flash basic to program my pic´s and it works great ! .
there is one problem , how can i debug the program without the development board ?
I now compile the file , and then make it a hex-file with MPASM
and burn it into the pic .
some times it works and sometimes not .
I really want some program that can "run" the asm file or bsm file so I can se whats wrong with my program.
MPLAB - A free WIN32 PIC development suite from www.microchip.com has a in-built simulator which you can use to test your programs before burning them into the chip. The simulator is well designed and can help out to sort the software problems most of the time.
