how to do so using Mains?

Hello,

How to convert this circuit so that it does work by Mains?
I do not like to use any transformer? Or is there any schematic circuit to give me a sample?

Just buy a ballast suitable for those lamps.

I need another way.
Is there another way? because I want the whole system to be small so I can not use Transformers. Any way plz?

He didn't say a transformer, he said a ballast - modern ones are elctronic, and use a tiny switchmode transformer like in the diagram you posted.

I meant I do not like to use a step down transformer to convert the mains voltage into 12V for the above circuit.

Do you have any schematic for those Ballasts you mentioned?
