Hi,

I am puzzled:

How to make Hex Workshop display 12-bit wide HEX data? It defaults to 8 and one can change it but NOT to 12 bit wide bytes, it goes from 8 to 16 and so on?

Why I need to display 12 bit wide words? Because on the low PIC parts the flash memory is 12 bit wide and if you display them as 8 then the whole addressing is offset?

I though this would be simple but.... no luck so far

The PicKit2 display those 12-bit wide words accurately, just as one would expect:

Although the pic only uses 12 bits of program data, it is stored in the hex file as 16 bits and so displaying 16 bit should give the correct values.
