Invert the trigger input.

You can invert the trigger.

how will inverting the trigger help when the monostable vibrator responds to a low pulse?just asking?i mean the second figure calls for the vibrator to respond in the +ve edge.

The monostable responds to the falling (leading) edge of the trigger. He wants it to respond the rising (trailing) edge. If you invert the pulse, the monostable should respond to the falling (now trailing) edge of the trigger as desired.

Of course that won't work if the trigger is level sensitive and not edge sensitive.
