I found this AC 4 pole motor and it has a wiring diagram as shown.
How should I wire it? Does it mean, black (sec. coil) goes onto the capacitor as well as blue (common/ground)?
1. Connect the COMMON directly to BLUE.
2. Connect the COMMON to PIN_A of cap then BLACK to PIN_B of cap
3. Connect BROWN to LINE
4. And of cource GREEN/YELLOW is ground.
thats what I thought, thanks. The diagram is pretty lousy, they should have made a dot between the secondary coil and the capacitor and label it black.
Got a cap with 4 legs, two each are interconnected. Makes the wiring a bit easier. Lucky there is another sticker, that specifies the capacitor. (4uF 440V)
