Can you cheat a little and just play a recording of the sound from an animal?

Hi
Theres someone on this forum who has been building a superregen-superheterodyne-hyperfastrecovery-millereffect-siemeninjected-15MHz-thoughtwaveprogrammed-XMASFET transgendermitter based on a 555 timer and an 8051. This unit will provide EXACTLY the sounds you require.

Are you looking for sampled sounds, or generated sounds?

That is a very good description! :D

Youre welcome, but you still havent answered my question!

There are some COB ( NOT that1 Circuit On Board!! ) with different animal sounds. APLUsS module COBs are available here.

Alternate: use a CHIPCORDER recordable IC, record the sounds you need and use it. ICs like APR 9301 etc.,

Well, only joining today I don't really know if I can send you a link I've just found for you. The main problem is getting the chip (preprogrammed by a specialist company no doubt?). Looking at these circuits listed on this site, they are very simple BUT they are pre-built. Still, at under $5.00 US they may be what you need. The site is http//store.qkits.com Then click on 'sound kits' and choose your animal. These may be recorded in 8bit, so don't blame me if they sound like animals cloned by Daleks.:D
