The transformer has 23 volts on each leg. The right channel output is around 4 volts, left is 0. The left channel though is passing through the unamplified audio.. can anyone help me figure out where to start on this amp? It looks like the left and right ate identical schematics. Thanks

Check the DC voltage levels of the power supplies. It looks like there might be diodes missing from the bottom left of the circuit board.

It's probably worth changing all of the electrolytic capacitors.

Hi P,
First give it a wash with PVA alcohol.
Is the amplified sound coming from the right side channel?

Agree that the very first step is a thorough cleaning.

The good thing about a stereo amplifier is that you have two identical channels. As long as one of them is working correctly, you can use it to perform an A-B comparison on each node.

Time consuming, but effective.
