hey all....
I have a push button switch that lights up. It has 4 pins on the bottom. I want to wire this properly, but I don't know what wire to put where....
Basically, I know that when the switch is pushed into the "on" position, it lights up, and when its off, it doesn't. How do I wire it up to my circuit?

TIA!
Dave

Can you say where the switch came from, what brand, what part number, provide a photograph, or anything else that might identify it?

Is the illuminator inside the switch a lamp or LED? What voltage does the illuminator work on? 12Vdv? 120Vac? Do you own a multimeter?

I got it at radio shack.
the lettering on the switch says "3A125VAC, 1.5A250VAC"
sorry about the poor quality pics, took em with my blackberry

RadioShack knows nothing about this switch. They don't even know who made it. Their spec's shows only its weight.
