Some advice please, I feel that the resistors in these two schematics are not
required or am I just being dumb. They are 10k and 10r which I take as 10000ohm
& 100ohm respectively. The power for both is coming from a bec (battery eliminator circuit) which means you can use just the one battery for power and radio in a model
electric plane or whatever. The 5vdc is already as smooth as a babes bum, I think! Do they perform some function other than current limiting? The Mosfets can take upto 20v on their gate and the control is coming from a Micropic.

No upload?

I must have done somthing wrong! ah well blame it on-----

10r is a resistor with 10 ohms, not 100 ohms.

Click on "Manage Attachments", select browse and click on your file then upload it. Wait for the upload to finish then click on the bottom "Submit Reply" button not the top one.

Without seeing the pic I am not totally sure what you are saying, but I assume it is a pull-up resistor so that the MOSFET gate isn't left floating. When they are floating they can be rather unpredictable.

Yes thats it I jumped in with a post to quick. Lesson use brain before
keyboard! and I did mean 10r on that resistor, small mistakes can lead to
big stuffups. The pics were uploaded i dont Know what happend I won't try
again. Thanks
