another question, i have built a pov clock i got for xmas and it's the C word! (crap). i tried to modify it by taking my electric toothbrush apart and using the charger bit wich is wireless to power the leds so i dont have to use the copper tracks to power ir, but the power isnt enough it lags badly under load. so i was wondering. would it be better to use some small round magnets one side and small coils connected in pairs on the other so when the motor spins to rotate the arm it acts like a small generator?? i will do a drawing if that helps. or would i be better beefing up the inductive coupler??
BTW i got a realy neat gift this xmas a LCR meter that does ESR and Q and other stuff i have yet to read about on wikipedia :D it has something the seller called kevin leads but i think he means kelvin lol
