can any one explain d schematic to interface a 6 pin stepper motor to 89c51,

This is for a pic but will do for a 8051...
You can find the stepping sequence from the asm file

you have every thing related to stepper motor interfacing in the attached file
the code is compatable with 89c51

vj!! That's not a particularly good design... There is no emf protection... there needs to be diodes across the windings... Nigel's schematic is a better option.

Ian, yea you are right, I did not thought about that..
Actually I worked on the same project before some days so I thought I should share it (Actually did not checked Nigel's project. But I think that is with PIC microcontroller)
