Hi friends!!!
I'm doing a project on data acquisition system... i need to send data stored in microcontroller memory to the PC and display on it...I'm using an 89C51 microcontroller.

I'm going for serial communication and am using MAX232...

Please suggest me how to go about it....
Can i use a terminal emulator like Hyperterminal to serve my purpose???
If i can use it please let me know how to receive data from the microcontroller...
I would also be very pleased if any one can help me with some tutorials r links...
I'm grateful to everyone who replies...

Start here: **broken link removed**

Then use the search function of this forum.
Then try something (hard- and software) and let us know what isn't working.

You can use Hyperterminal to "see" data from the µC but what do you want to do with the data? Make a graph of the logged signal(s)?
