My friend washed his almost new iPhone 3GS. After drying it carefully it was mostly dead. He left it with a repair guy who tried a bunch of things but was unable to cure it.

So I'm the proud? owner of a slightly used non-functional 3GS. He says the display still works fine - it just won't charge. Anyone know where I can find info on the display? I've Googled a bit and found nothing so far.

Found this:
Code:
Graphical-subsystem
Display-Type: color transflective TFT display
Display+Color+Depth: 18 bit/pixel (262144 scales)
Display-Diagonal: 3.5 " (89 millimetres)
Display+Resolution: 320 x 480 (153600 pixels)
Viewable+Display:Size: 1.94 " x 2.92 " (49.37 x 74.05 millimetres)
Dot_Pitch: 164.6 pixel/inch (0.15428 millimetre/pixel)
Graphical;Controller: PowerVR SGX

EDIT: Just found this.
