We are working with the PIC 16F690 right now for some stuff. Really would like to sense temps non-contact. I have found that most IR sensors cannot even tough these temps and have learned that possibly a lens will be needed to reduce the IR received and then recalibrate with the lens.

Just curious if anyone has component source and mfg ideas regarding this circuit for a wide range of temperatures?
