I need to make/find a remote extender for a Telewest 4000DVB set top box so channels can be changed from another room. The remote uses IRDA signals so the normal IR extenders available don't work. Any ideas? thanks for the help.
maxim makes some cool chips that have IRDA to standard serial decoder/encoders, you could easily use a pair of those, one at each end of a cable, or whatever.
