Look at photo. Female jack on left is YouTube video. Female on right is TV. When YouTube forces me to watch advertisements I switch to TV. When TV forces me to watch commercials I switch back to YouTube. I am tired of moving mail plug back and forth to he females. Male phone jack #28 wires broke an solder will not stick to wires.

Is there such a thing as a 2 way switch for 1/8" phone jack, What is the NAME of it?

No one sells 1/8" phone jack parts they are all pre made from China.

Do you want something like this but with a switch in it? (1/8" =3.5mm)

More like this. "

3.5 mm Audio Switcher, 2 Ports Audio Splitter Box" I can find a number of these.

Found another one.

If you want to build one, the parts are available.

I already have that, can't plug all 3 in at the same time.

I could build double pole double throw switch if I can buy parts???

REAL suppliers like Digikey, Mouser, Jameco, etc. all will have the parts you need.

Amazon, ebay and AliExpress are not the place to find specific parts.

What? The world's largest online retailer is FAKE? Please tell me it isn't so! Where do all the boxes with the cute blue A-to-Z arrow that looks like a smile come from?

How does the switch know?

It works the same way. Zoom into the picture - the side with two jacks say input/output and the side with one jack says, output/input.

Look at the photo. I want an A-B switch.

What I would do is get three stereo 3.5mm (⅛") jacks similar to the picture below and a DPDT toggle switch and mount them in some kind of enclosure.

Connect the two non-ground contacts of the input connectors to each side of the DPDT switch and the common pins of the switch to the output connector. Connect the ground connections of all three jacks together.

If you need a male connector, buy short stereo 3.5mm male-male cables (which the Dollar Store likely has) to make those connections.

Lest the peanut gallery have any comments about using stereo jacks for these connections, the pictures below illustrated that stereo jacks will work for stereo headphones or stereo earbads/headphones having a microphone.

3 female jacks will not work? How do you plug a female jack into another female jack??????? What I need is 2 jacks and 1 female jack.

Picture shows what I have. C plugs into A to listen to YouTube. C plugs into B to listen to TV.

Ummm.... that was addressed..... I am well aware of what you desire – the first seven times you've included that picture were pretty clear.

Umm, I'm pretty sure you didn't explain it well because the OP just said...
