Is this a Zener?

Trying to figure out if the component labelled R033 is a Zener diode to regulate voltage to 3.3 volts. If it is, and it is working, how do I use a multimeter to correctly test it (positive to either end gives me the battery pack voltage, across the diode gives me zero volts.

This is the EP from an RC car.

Thanks in advance.

yes, it is a resistor, R033, the R is an indication of it being a Resistor. Also, resistor don't have a voltage drop when it is not powered.

A diode will exhibit a voltage when you use a DMM in voltage mode.

Thanks. I thought it was too big to be a resistor (even with the "R" label) but I presume it is sized this way to dissapate power as heat.
