Boncuk New Member Oct 26, 2010 #1 The Eagle doc field of the frames is a bit overloaded displaying date and time accurate to one second. I tried to get rid of the time stamp editing the variable name ">LAST_DATE_TIME" to ">LAST_DATE" The result was the text ">LAST_DATE" in the doc field of a finished schematic design. Eagle is obviously using the entire variable to be handled as a string. Better leave it untouched. Boncuk Attachments DOC-FIELD-01.gif 5.5 KB · Views: 488 DOC-FIELD-02.gif 5.9 KB · Views: 469

You probably would need a time stamp on a circuit design if you are in urgent need of an alibi (e.g. being accused of murder ) The time stamps uses valuable space in the doc field which could be used for more info about the circuit.
