What i want to have is an schematic of a 12 hours digital clock (with hours and minutes only as the display in the 7-segment display) and the seconds as the LED indicator between hours and minutes..

Also, where will i put the AM and PM indicator?

Thanks very much!

Hope u guyz get what i am talking about..:)

anyone here?

the schematic uses age old 74 series. Thanks to Rodalco, but it might cause lot of interference issues in not shielded properly.
you have not indicated you place of living. Many places od developing nations, (including mine) does not have a perfect 50Hz. thus the clock will be slow in general.

If you are interested a clock based on 4MHz clock and using a PIC micro controller with little software would make your project Modern and you can claim state of art design. one such example is Microchip application note AN0615B
I can perhaps support you with a code that can work off 16F84A , though an old and costly chip.
