Hello!

I've read the L200 datasheet and I still am not sure how the current limiting works.

Does it work like LM317 example circuits where the current limitation is continuous, i.e., as the current increases towards the limit, the voltage starts to decrease?

Or is it like a switch? I.e., After the current has reached it's limit, only then the voltage decreases?

Thanks!

I believe it works similar to the LM317. The LM200 does have the option of adding a resistor to allow adjustment of the current limit value.
