L298 Question

Hi, Can i parallel two L298 ICs to increase the current to 8A , i've problem about using ICs that can do that , because its not avaliable here in my area.

Have a look at figure 7 in the data sheet. To parallel two ICs, I assume it would be fine as long as you used separate current sense resistors to make sure the load is balanced.

yea, but im going to connect both current sense pins to ground , is this ok ?

I read it , but i didnt understand it fully ? you mean i must put 4 current sense resistors then for the two ICs ?

If you look at figure 7 then you should only need two.
