LCD and keypad for 2 PIC16f84a

hi,

pls help me do my project, its basically a timer and a keypad lock.
the first 16f84a is for the LCD, the LCD is use for the input and display of the time, while the other PIC is for the keypad. the two PICs are to communicate using the RA4s and RA3s of the PICs. im a newbie about programming LCDs, im planning to use BASIC language for simplicity pruposes. can anyone teach how to do this...

and please give me also sample timer and keypad lock program wriiten in BASIC. tnx...

use MIKROBASIC for programing it has a exapmle program for interfacing keypad and lcd,u can get help from it,

Ello - my 1st post..

Basically I have a fully working piece of code that you can write to any 44780 type LCD and its fully commented - in assembly though not basic..Once you get into it is a piece of err cake...Give us a shout if you want it -
