Hi all, anyone have any idea how to link 2 4017s to flash 18 leds?

If i connect to the %10 then linking them would produce numbers like 1- 99.
Where as i need numbers 1 - 20.

thanks very much

The TI datsheet shows how to cascade them.

Texas Instruments' datasheet shows 17 cascaded LEDs.
Bill Bowden shows how to cascade 18 LEDs, uses Mickey Mouse diode gates and he explains how it works:

Here's a way to cascade 4017s for 18 counts that uses more respectable logic. I didn't show the LEDs.
If anybody needs the CD4017 model (I made it for SWcad, don't know if you could make it work for other simulators), let me know.
