Looking for solide state switching but with no voltage drop?

We are working on a device that needs to quickly interrupt a .1VAC source. the frequency of the voltage varies a LOT. The problem is triacs will have a voltage drop and that would prove problematic here. From where it is right now, it looks like a mechanical relay is the only thing that can do what we need here but I find that hard to believe.

What is the current level you are trying to switch?

a FET... which FET depends on your current levels. a welder requires a far different FET from line level audio.

if you are at 0VDC you need to either you offset it or use back to back fets

If your AC signal is low current and feeding into a high impedance destination the relatively low impedance of a CMOS transmission gate (e.g. CD4066) may cause negligible loss. It would help if you gave further details.

Until FastLine comes back and explains what he wants to do we are all just shooting in the dark.
He is concerned with the loss in PCB traces going to the zero ohm switch. So 50 ohms in a CMOS switch is going to be a problem.
I am not going to wast any more time on this until we know more.
