Hey new to the forum and new to electronics. Studying electro-technology and Im having a few problems.

Need to draw up an example circuit diagram of

SUPPLY to undervoltage protective device to load

it must also include manual reclosure of supply in the circuit.

Any help, e.g example ccts on the internet, would be great
Thanks.

"must also include manual reclosure of supply in the circuit."
Do you mean that it is not to automaticly recover from undervoltage?

Yeah thats right, using a switch or something instead, probably assuming the load equipment is capable of undervoltage for short periods.

I dont know, the question is pretty vague, but Im on a study break for a month and cant ask any of my instructors for guidence.

Constant power devices (switching power supply) draw more current when the input voltage drops. To protect the power supply from excess current, the undervoltage circuit disconnects the load from the source. The circuit normally consists of a voltage reference and comparator, but if you want it to latch off, then a latch circuit (flip-flop) is needed. Positive feedback on the comparator could be used also to latch off.
