matlab txt code

I am reading data from .txt file . This file contains 4 columns of data. As a part of program, I have to find the max current and voltage values and then find the phase difference between them. Then i will work out the power for the fromula P = Vrms* Irms *Cos(phase angle). To find the max value, I wrote a small piece of code, but the following error comes up
??? Error: File: U:\Project\Matlab\maxvalue.m Line: 12 Column: 5
This statement is incomplete.
Note the first and third columns are the time while current is the second and voltage the fourth.

Any help would be grateful
