Hi members,
why does flip flop goes into metastable state when it violates setup and hold time?

Hi,
I know that a flip flop goes into metastable state when it violates setup and hold time. But i dont understand why it oscillates when it violates.

Maybe someone has a better description, but I think it is because the latch is in between a zero and a one state so it is no longer digital.
