What is a microstrip filter ?


What is its difference with normal filter ?

It uses designed in features in the microstrip line PCB traces to create high frequency (microwave) filters. It is a "normal" filter, it just uses the inductance and capacitance of the traces to form the filter, rather then discrete inductors and capacitors.

Also keep in mind, microstrip filters ony become practical above 300MHz. It is a size issue. Have a read at this link to learn more.
