I am trying to establish communication between to devices master/slave. I want to use Modbus (RTU) through RS-485. The master device has PIC18F45K22 processor and the slave device has PIC16F914 processor. Can anyone recommend a good example (C cod +comments) or a tutorial that I can use to learn how to do this. I have found some ex at **broken link removed** but the code has no comments. Can one have the exact same Modbus code at master and slave if they have same processor?
