Most Common Type of RGB LED?

Just wondering if common anode or common cathode is the more common type of RGB LED? Has anyone noticed?

Depends on how you drive them of course, but if you look at the newer I2C/SPI 8/16/24 bit led drivers they are almost always current sink, so common anode in that case. Bought a Osram rgb to play with and you can use it either way, once you figure the pinout. Would like to try the Luxeon Rebel someday.

Common anode seem more readily available.

May be due to that configuration being easier to interface with logic through a low side driver.
