coming to the final design of my CRITTER RIDDER for the car or garden BUT!!
the cost of quality enclosures is IMO to high.
note this device is planned to sell locally
- using piezo tweeters (one 2x5 and one 3.5 x 3.5)
options being considered - each tweeter in its own enclosure (one will contain the electronics) enclosures for quality polycarbonate $16 & $18
option 2 - enclose just the electronics in a small enclosure and have customer mount the tweeters using velcro tape(no enclosures but wires to have spade connectors attached. This option would save the customer $35-$40 not counting a cost markup of enclosures.
The lack of tweeter enclosures would make mounting easier, no drilling etc.
any other ideas?
Looked at bake-light boxes but saving only a few dollars.
