Im not sure if anyone else has been experiencing problems with Micro$oft vs.net 2005 not playing nicely with MPLAB.

It might just be me, but after I have run c#, MPlab starts telling me that proven code is wrong!

The problem apparently lies with visual studio and MPlab sharing the file extension '.cod'.

The only solution seemed to be to reinstall MPLab every time you had run VS.net.

It is mentioned on this page.

Anyway, here’s a workaround for anyone that’s interested:) :

[windows users]

Run each application on its own user account (NEVER run vs.net on the MPLAB account!)
Use windows fast user switching instead of logging off.

It’s not perfect but it definitely beats the reinstall method.
