MPLAB has UART stimulator options in the debugger window.. there are 2 option to select, input and output file, and output window.. for tranmits stimulations, i "checked" the enable UART, and selected the output window, and then we will get tab-(SIM uart1) in the output window of mplab ide, and wat ever is transmit from the UART in the program(code) is shown in the windows..so it ok and works.. but how to stimulate RECEIVE?? i loaded a text file into the input file section but after that i dont know how to activate the receive???? anyone has used the UART SIM??
