I'm modifiying a wah peal and need to know what type of capacitor this is

BTW, the leads are not the ones comming out the sides...they are going down through to the board from the bottom of the capacitor.

I think they are metal film but I wanted to be sure.

I guess its not really important that its exact...im changing out the sweep capacitor as in this page

Yes they are definately metalised polyester film.

thanks, I was making an order from allelectronics and got item RMC-223

it seems to be close enough and if it does not work as well as i'm hoping for ill find one exactly the same in the .022uF rating.

this is only to boost the signal output so the volume of the wah is not cut by half when switched on.
