With your assistance, I believe that the 74*563 is an equivalent part. I might have better luck finding one... though I may be in the same predicament... who knows.
My problem is that I'm fleshing out an old PCB created by someone else that employed the 580, so I'm stuck with the design. Adding iverters is non-trivial. :-(
