Data sheet or recommendation of equivalent.

I have a few circuit boards (bare) that use this part... and I can't find it anywhere.

Is there a similar part?

With your assistance, I believe that the 74*563 is an equivalent part. I might have better luck finding one... though I may be in the same predicament... who knows.

I think a 74HCT374 or a 74HCT373 will be a good substitution.

74HCT374 / 74HCT373 are not inverting latches as 74HCT580.

My problem is that I'm fleshing out an old PCB created by someone else that employed the 580, so I'm stuck with the design. Adding iverters is non-trivial. :-(
